1. £10,000 Challenge Terms

The CyberProofed £10,000 Challenge (the "Challenge") is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility: The Challenge is open to registered businesses with at least 10 employees and a functioning IT infrastructure. CyberProofed reserves the right to decline participation to any business at its sole discretion.
  2. Challenge Agreement: Prior to the commencement of the Challenge, participating businesses must sign the Challenge Agreement, which outlines the specific scope, methodology, timelines, and payment conditions.
  3. Scope Definition: The scope of the assessment will be clearly defined in the Challenge Agreement. This includes the systems, networks, and applications that will be subject to testing, as well as any systems explicitly excluded from the assessment.
  4. Methodology: CyberProofed will use ethical hacking techniques to attempt to breach the participating business's security. These techniques may include but are not limited to network scanning, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, social engineering, and physical security testing (if agreed upon).
  5. Success Criteria: The Challenge will be considered successful for CyberProofed if we can demonstrate any of the following:
    • Unauthorized access to sensitive data
    • Ability to execute commands on servers or workstations
    • Privilege escalation to administrator level
    • Successful social engineering attacks resulting in credential disclosure
    • Any other security breach as defined in the Challenge Agreement
  6. Payment Conditions: If CyberProofed fails to breach the participating business's security within the agreed timeframe, we will pay the business £10,000 within 30 business days of the conclusion of the Challenge. If CyberProofed successfully breaches the security, the participating business agrees to pay the assessment fee outlined in the Challenge Agreement.
  7. Confidentiality: CyberProofed agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information obtained during the Challenge. We will not disclose any findings or information about the participating business without explicit written consent.
  8. Reporting: Regardless of the outcome, CyberProofed will provide a detailed report of all testing activities, findings, and recommendations for security improvements.
  9. Limitations: The Challenge is subject to the limitations outlined in the Challenge Agreement, including time constraints, scope restrictions, and excluded systems.
  10. Legal Compliance: All activities conducted by CyberProofed during the Challenge will comply with applicable laws and regulations. The participating business must provide written authorization for all testing activities.

2. General Services Terms

In addition to the Challenge, CyberProofed offers various cybersecurity services, which are subject to the following terms:

  1. Service Agreement: All services provided by CyberProofed require a signed Service Agreement that outlines the scope, methodology, deliverables, timelines, and fees.
  2. Payment Terms: Payment terms will be specified in the Service Agreement. Generally, services require a 50% deposit upon signing the agreement, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the services.
  3. Intellectual Property: All reports, methodologies, tools, and materials provided by CyberProofed remain the intellectual property of CyberProofed. The client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the reports and findings for their internal security purposes.
  4. Confidentiality: CyberProofed agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information obtained during the provision of services.
  5. Limitation of Liability: CyberProofed's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  6. Warranty: CyberProofed warrants that services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. This warranty is valid for 30 days from the completion of services.
  7. Termination: Either party may terminate the Service Agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of the agreement and fails to cure such breach within 30 days of receiving notice.
